Expressions of interest are now open for the 2025-26 round of the Volunteer Grants!
Volunteer Grants support the work of local community organisations that rely on volunteers by removing barriers to volunteering and promoting awareness of volunteering opportunities.
Grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 will be available to eligible not-for-profit community organisations to support the efforts of their volunteers. A total of $66,665 is available in our electorate of Hughes.
Eligible organisations can submit an EOI form to my office by Friday 3rd April 2026. EOIs will be considered by a Community Consultation Committee, with shortlisted organisations invited to submit a full application for funding.
Steps to Apply
Review the grant guidelines and discuss your organisation's need with your volunteers.
After 3 April 2026: The Community Consultation Committee meets to determine which projects will progress to the next stage.
18 May 2026: Successful organisations invited by the Department to submit a full application.
26 May 2026: Applications close.
October 2026: Grant agreements finalised and payments issued.
